GenZ's Innovative Thinking Makes Them Perfect Entrepreneurs

Will GenZ be the best entrepreneurs the world has ever seen?

Born from the mid-90s to the present, the growing post-millennial generation Gen Z is unlike anything we’ve seen before. With a natural aversion to taking on debt and lofty career goals, this highly self-actualized generation has no time to waste. It won’t be easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.

Even beyond inflation, college tuition rates are more challenging than ever, forcing Gen Z to make some tough decisions. Having grown up during the student loan crisis and considering the current national student loan debt total of $1.4 trillion, Gen Z sees no other alternative than to pay for college on their own.  Though many are still in their teens, 76% of Gen Zers already earn their own money through part-time jobs, 38% plan to work during college, and 24% plan to pay for college through their own savings. For Gen Z, this is only the beginning of they grand plans.

As the first wave of Gen Z begin graduating college and entering the workforce, employers will find themselves faced with focused and driven employees. Almost half of Gen Zers have long term entrepreneurial plans, and are eager to learn what they can on the job from their team leaders and colleagues alike. Emphasizing a value of social connections over typical work/life balance, the stepping stones of their career build a foundation for their entrepreneurial spirit. Gen Zers aren’t afraid to ask for help either, and millennials are more than willing to lend a hand by offering words of caution and advice as mentors.. Easily connecting with leaders in their chosen field, Gen Zers take advantage of social media from Facebook to Linkedin to find the right people to learn from.

Already including 61 million Americans, the young Generation Z is growing up right before our eyes. Take a look at this infographic for more on the innovation of Gen Z and how they plan on building a future for themselves.
