Funding The Mobile Economy Will Introduce Personalized Gameplay

Mobile gaming is the next moneymaking frontier.

Addressing the tech market at large, the mobile sector is raking in some serious cash. With the rise of mobile gaming, its economy will cross a record $90 billion net worth within the next 10 months. Across the Earth, no one can seem to get enough of their games. What’s driving us to invest so much into our pocket-sized thrills - even more than we allocate to the more powerful Xbox, Playstation, or Wii-style fleet of consoles?

We’re spending 81% of digital gaming time on the apps installed on our smartphones. As a result, developers of Artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) are inspired by our obsession, and are using their technology to provide us with high-graphic and high-performing gaming unlike we’ve ever seen before.

Gaming and AI expert Greg Brockman, who is Co-Founder and CTO of Open.AI, previously spoke on the intense capabilities modern technology has to improve gaming. By quote, Brockman once said, “If it takes a human between 12,000 and 20,000 hours of practice to master a certain skill, then the bots burn through ‘100 human lifetimes of experience every single day’.” As developers test their AI performance, they’ll be able to use their results to create games with self-learning and personalization features.

This will be known as Next Generation In-Game AI, and it’s coming very soon. Imagine games smart enough to not only be played, but also adapt to what each buyer - you, the player - likes. More than this, your game characters will be able to learn and grow just like real people do. To tie everything together, gaming data scientists are enhancing their graphics, adding details to playable characters to provide the most immersive experience possible. DeepMind has already produced flexible characters.

Although the amount of money, and time, we gift the mobile gaming economy, our involvement contributes to the future. Continue reading for more information on the future of mobile gaming.
