By Timothy D. Naegele[1]
I just had some woman reprimand me for saying that items being sold outside of a library where she works are "junk," and nothing more than that. Clearly, the library allowed the sellers to have "stalls" to sell their wares, like the stalls at a farmer's market.
She should be fired, but she was exercising her right of free speech, which I was when I effectively told her that her opinion didn't matter. Junk is junk; and yes, people collect it. The fact that I found her to be an obnoxious bitch was my opinion.
On college campuses globally, Americans and others are saying that the Israelis are butchers. Israel was thrust on the Middle East, despite the beliefs of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and General George Marshall that it should not have come into being.[2]
Innocent American Jews, some of whom have been my friends since grade school in Los Angeles, are feeling the effects of rising anti-Semitism, which may only get worse. To curtail or censor free speech by Jews and non-Jews only exacerbates the problems.[3]
