Ford Switches To BlackBerry; Drops Microsoft:

Ford Motor will discontinue its relationship with Microsoft and switch to BlackBerry to run its Sync mobile phone multimedia software starting in 2016.

A big hat tip to Citron Research (originally brought to my attention by an NFTRH subscriber), which not only helped inspire me to do my own piece on the 3Dp’s after their fine dismemberment of DDD, but also alerted me to a former darling that Wall Street now (and maybe not for long) hates, Blackberry (BBRY).

You can click the link above and go to their site if you want to read their work.  Just pick the symbols from the drop down menu.  I did not know enough about Citron to put anything in NFTRH just yet, but BBRY is in the speculation portfolio. So I have been dry running them personally.

I am (risk vs. reward) very bearish this market (no, really?) and getting more so by the week.  But there are several stocks that I think have good prospects assuming the big market does not fall apart (and face it, a topping process, if that is coming in ’14 as expected, can last forever and a day).

BBRY has some pretty sweet news today that is right in line with Citron’s thoughts.  Seems Ford likes Blackberry’s mobile software better than Microsoft (which I also own by the way).  Seems some value may be unlocked here after all.  Wall Street will catch on eventually too.

None.
