Economic Events Of The Coming Week - 7/13/2015

Tomorrow, June Trade Balance data is scheduled to see light in China, with analysts expecting to see some pick up in exports, following a 2.5% decline seen in May. June’s monthly budget statement will be published in the U.S.

Monday: June Trade Balance data is scheduled to see light in China, with analysts expecting to see some pick up in exports, following a 2.5% decline seen in May. June’s monthly budget statement will be published in the U.S.

Tuesday: The final estimate for June’s Consumer Price Index in Germany, Spain and the U.K., all of which currently enjoy marginally positive annual inflation. In Germany, the ZEW Survey to be reported, with the analyst consensus expecting a pick-up in pessimism. In the U.S., June Retail Sales data release. 

Wednesday: June Industrial Production data will be released in China. The Second Quarter’s GDP estimate report in China. Jobless Claims rate are scheduled for release in the U.K., where analysts expect a 9.5K decrease in claims. Unemployment data also to be released in the U.K., at a rather attractive 5.5%. In the U.S., the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications report. Also due in the U.S. are June’s Producer Price Index, the Empire State Manufacturing Survey and June’s Industrial Production data. The Bank of Canada is expected to make a rate announcement.

Thursday: The final estimate of June's CPI is due today in the Eurozone. Additionally, the ECB will hold a rate announcement. In the U.S., the weekly Initial Jobless Claims will be released, after rising to 297K last week, its highest since February.

Friday: Housing Starts data in the U.S., with a rather optimistic analyst consensus of 1109K. Also, June’s Consumer Price Index in the U.S, as will the preliminary estimate of the University of Michigan’s Consumer Sentiment Index.
