Economic Events of the Coming Week - 6/26/2016

Monday: May M3 Money supply data will be released for the Eurozone. Central bank chiefs Draghi, Yellen and Carney are scheduled to speak in Portugal.

Tuesday: In France, June’s Consumer Confidence Index data will see light. May’s Retail Sales data will be released in Spain. ECB President Draghi will speak in Portugal. The third estimate for GDP will see light in the U.S. June’s Consumer Confidence Index data will also see light in the U.S.

Wednesday: June’s Nationwide House Price data will be released in the U.K., not that the indicator provided should serve as a good benchmark for the road ahead. In Spain, the preliminary estimate for June’s Consumer Price Index data will see light. May’s Mortgage Approvals data will also see light in the U.K. The final estimate for June’s Consumer Confidence Index will be released in the Eurozone, followed by Germany’s preliminary June Consumer Price Index. In the U.S., the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications data will see light, followed by May’s Personal Income and Personal Spending data.

Thursday:  June’s preliminary Consumer Price Index will be released in France. June’s Unemployment data will be released in Germany. The final estimate for the first quarter’s Gross Domestic Data will see light in the U.K. The preliminary June CPI will be released in Italy. In the U.S., the weekly Initial Jobless Claims data will see light. June’s Chicago PMI will also see light.

Friday: May’s Jobless Rate will be released in Japan, as will May’s CPI and the Tankan Index. A slew Manufacturing PMIs will be released globally, including the China PMI, the German PMI and the ISM Manufacturing PMI.
