
Monday: Greece will stand at the center of attention as banks re-open and potentially suffer a run-on. Advance Consumer Confidence Index data for June will see light for the Eurozone. In the U.S., May Existing Home Sales data will see light where analysts are quite optimistic, with their consensus at 5.28 M.
Tuesday: It's time for some Preliminary June Markit Purchasing Managers' Indices, notably the Chinese and Japanese Manufacturing PMIs, followed by several in the Eurozone and also the U.S. print. In the U.S., May's Durable Goods Orders data will see light, where analysts expect a 0.7% Month over Month contraction, following -1% in April. May New Home Sales data is also scheduled for release in the U.S., similar to the Existing Home Sales print, analysts are optimistic about this one as well, seeing 525K, following 517K in April.
Wednesday: The Final estimate for the first quarter's GDP will be released in France. In Germany, the IFO Survey data will see light, where analysts see a slight deterioration in major metrics. In the U.S., June's MBA Mortgage Applications data will see light. Also due in the U.S. is the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications. Unlike most GDP third Estimates, analysts expect the U.S. print to show a significant improvement, from -0.7% to -0.2%.
Thursday: May Personal Income and Spending data will see light in the U.S. The weekly Initial Jobless Claims has an upbeat Analyst Consensus, at 273K, though, evidently, the pass-through to the Fed's rate for this one seems to be diminishing.
Friday: In Japan, May Labor Market data will see light. This will be followed by May Consumer Price Index data, where analyst expect annual inflation to diminish further. In France, June Consumer Confidence Index data will see light. May M3 Money Supply is scheduled for release in the Eurozone, followed by the Italian June Business and Consumer Confidence Indices. In the U.S., the Final estimate for June's University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index will see light.
