
Monday: The Final estimate of May’s Consumer Price Index will see light in Italy. June’s Empire Manufacturing survey will see light in the U.S., as will May’s Industrial Production data.
Tuesday: The final print for the Consumer Price Index in May will be released in Germany and the U.K. The latter will also hold the release of the month’s Producer Price Index. In Germany, June’s ZEW Survey will see light. In the U.S., we’ll get the opportunity to look at the local housing market with the release of May’s Housing Starts data, following a very impressive 1135K print.
Wednesday: May Trade Balance data will see light in Japan. In the U.K., May labor market data will see light, including the Claimant Count Rate and the Jobless Claims change. Analysts see unemployment steady at 5.5%. Also scheduled is the Eurozone’s final estimate for the Consumer Price Index. In the U.S., expect the weekly MBA Mortgage Applications and the crown jewel for the week FOMC Rate announcement.
Thursday: Merkel is scheduled to give a European Policy Speech in Parliament, this will be further spiced with the Greek agenda as the Euro-Area Finance Ministers scheduled to meet in Luxemburg. Retail Sales data for May will be released in the U.K. May Consumer Price Index data will see light in the U.S., where analysts eye a 0.5% Month over Month increase. Also due is the weekly Initial Jobless Claims. And May’s Leading Index.
Friday: April’s All Industry Activity Index will see light in Japan, hopefully, recovering from the 1.3% Month over Month decline it recorded in March.
