Tuesday: Watched for throughout the world, U.S. elections will take place. September Industrial Production data will be released in Germany and the U.K. In Canada, October’s Housing Starts data will see light. October’s Trade Balance data is scheduled to see light in China.
Wednesday: Balance of Payments data will be released in Japan, with analysts expecting a small moderation at the deficit to JPY 1.976 bln. October’s Consumer Price Index data will be released in China, with analysts eyeing an increase of inflation to 2.1%. The weekly MBA Mortgage Applications will be released in the U.S., as will the final estimate of September’s Wholesale Inventories.
Thursday: September Machine Orders data will be released in Japan. In France and Italy, September’s Industrial Production data will see light. The weekly Initial Jobless Claims is due in the U.S. Walt Disney is slated to announce the quarter’s earnings.
Friday: October’s Producer Price Index data will be released in Japan. In Germany, the final estimate of October’s CPI will see light, currently at 0.8% inflation. September Trade Balance data will be released in Russia. In the U.S., the preliminary estimate of November’s University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index will see light.
