Prices are running too far and too fast for me to chase. I wanted to see prices marginally close above the trendline, not up another 20%. I regret not buying yesterday when I was closely considering it. I will wait for a pullback in price with a better-defined stop loss. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll look for another trade.
It usually doesn’t pay to chase prices, sometimes you just have to move on or wait for the market to come to you. Some investors will revenge trade; they will try to make up potential gains or losses on the next position. Often causing them to force a position before the setup is ready or they will take on a much larger position than they otherwise would have.
