With trade balance numbers coming out of the United Kingdom, as well as industrial production and manufacturing production, we will have a lot of attention focused on the UK. We also get employment numbers coming out of Canada, and import/export price index numbers coming out of America. There could be quite a bit of short-term volatility in the markets.
Gold
Gold markets continue to attract attention, but currently stagnate near the $1240 level. Pullbacks could be thought of as value in light of the recent rally though, so look for call buyers to be very interested in short-term dips.

CAC
The French index made a bit of a recovery during the day on Thursday, as we broke above the €4800 level. There’s still a fair amount of resistance at the €4840 level, but if we can break above there the longer-term uptrend should continue. Ultimately, pullbacks will more than likely attract bullish sentiment based upon value.

WTI Crude Oil
The WTI Crude Oil market rally during the day on Thursday, as we continue to try and grind to the upside. The market has been consolidating in general, and looks likely to continue to do so. Expect resistance near the $54 level. Short-term trading is probably as good as it gets.
