Gold: Shifting to Sideways Consolidation

It looks like time may finally be up for the bears attempting to drive prices cleanly below the $4,000 mark. By climbing above the descending trend line, Gold has effectively neutralized its immediate downward pressure, paving the way for price action to settle. The technical picture now strongly favors a period of sideways consolidation around $4,000. Under this outlook, a sideways scenario is assigned a 70% probability, while a bearish continuation carries a 20% chance, and a full-fledged bullish breakout holds a 10% probability. Until a stronger directional catalyst emerges, range-bound behavior remains the most expected path forward.

Today’s critical levels to watch:

Support: $4,000

Resistance: $4,250, $4,380, $4,500, $4,546

Silver: Downtrend Break Targets $64.00 Level

Silver is following a similar narrative, having already broken above its downward trend line in earlier sessions. This structural break opens up room for a potential rally to test the key $64.00 resistance level. However, because the chart has yet to print a new higher swing high, the broader macro trend technically remains tilted to the downside. Rather than an immediate bullish trend reversal, price action is more likely to develop into a broader sideways phase as buyers and sellers battle for control near these higher levels.

Today’s critical level to watch:

Support: $54.00, $50.00

Resistance: $64.00, $70.00, $80.00, $83.91, $85.00, $100.00, $120.00

Crude Oil: Testing Key Resistance at $85.00

After bouncing sharply off the $77.13 floor, crude oil has rallied back up to test both its major descending trend line and the $85.00 horizontal resistance. The trend line continues to be respected, placing the market at a crucial technical decision point. Traders are sitting on their hands to evaluate how price reacts to this dual barrier. A decisive breakout above $85.00 would likely trigger a stronger bullish expansion, whereas a firm rejection from this area could easily send prices falling back down toward $77.13.

Today’s critical level to watch:

Support: $80.00, $77.13, $70.00, $67.20

Resistance: $85.00, $90.00, $95.00
