Current Report: The Hackett Group May Gain 8.48% Next Year

The Hackett Group is projected to deliver an 8.48% return next year, fueled by a 4.25% dividend yield and historical price gains.

The Hackett Group Inc. (HCKT) was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Miami, FL.

The company provides dedicated expertise in generative artificial intelligence strategy, operations, finance, human capital management, strategic sourcing, procurement, and information technology.

Three key data points gauge HCKT (or any dividend-paying entity):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

HCKT Price

Hackett Group’s single share price fell $2.12 or nearly 14.5% in the past year, from $18.61 to $11.32 per Monday’s opening market report.

Three analysts cover the stock and the median of heir one year price targets projected a $5.35 gain in the coming year.

However, HCKT’s past seventeen-year price progression from $3.10 to $11.32 shows an average annual gain of about $0.4835 as a prediction for the coming year’s returns. I’ll use that number to calculate returns after I discuss HCKT dividends.

HCKT Dividends

Hackett Group has paid quarterly dividends since December 2012.

The most recent Q dividend of $0.12 was paid October 2nd, 2026 (to shareholders of record September 18th), yielding $0.48 or 4.25% annually (per Monday’s opening market report)

HCKT Returns

Putting it all together, as of October 19th, a possible Hackett Group gross gain of $0.96 was projected.

To get there, our $0.48 per share calculated annual price gain was added to the $0.48 presumed forward-looking annual dividend to make that $0.96 gross gain.

A little over $1000 invested in HCKT at Monday’s $11.32 opening share price would buy 88.34 shares which multiply the hypothetical $0.096 gross gain to $84.81 for the coming year, or about 8.48%.

By the way, my dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is greater than the cost of one share.

Hackett Group’s projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $42.50, and that annual dividend proves to be about 3.75 times its Monday $11.32 single-share price.

The exact track of HCKT’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
