Current Report: PagSeguro Digital Might Gain 25% Next Year

PagSeguro Digital offers a projected 25% total return, combining a high 14.15% dividend yield with steady price recovery.

PagSeguro Digital Ltd (PAGS) was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

PAGS provides financial technology solutions to consumers, individual entrepreneurs, micro-merchants, small companies, and medium-sized companies in Brazil.

Three key data points gauge PAGS (or any dividend-paying equity):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

PAGS Price

PagSeguro Digital’s single share price dropped by $1.90, or 3.2%, falling from $9.31 to $7.91 in the past year, per Wednesday’s opening market report.

Sixteen analysts cover the stock and set a one-year price target $2.72  higher at $10.63

However, PAGS’ past two-year price progression from $6.19 to $7.91 shows an average annual gain of $0.86. I’ll use that $0.86 two-year progression number to calculate returns after I discuss PAGS’ dividends.

PAGS Dividends

PagSeguro has paid variable quarterly dividends since June 2025.

The most recent Q dividend of $0.28 per share was paid out September 30, 2026 (to shareholders of record September 16th).  The total annual forward-looking dividend of $1.12 yields 14.15% annually (per Wednesday’s opening market report)

PAGS Returns

Putting it all together, as of November 4th, a possible PagSeguro gross gain of $1.98 was projected.

To get there, our $0.86 per share two year annual price gain was added to a $1.12 presumed forward-looking annual dividend to make that $1.98 gross gain.

A little over $1000 invested in PAGS at Wednesday’s $7.91 opening price would buy 126.4 shares which multiply the hypothetical $1.98 gross gain to $250.31 for the coming year, or about 25.03%.

By the way, a dividend dogcatcher guideline is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is more than the cost of one share.

PagSeguro’s projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $141.50, and that annual dividend proves to be  17.8 times more than its Tuesday $7.91 single-share opening price.

The exact track of PagSeguro’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
