This company was founded in 1966 and is headquartered in Burlington, Canada.

Evertz Technologies Ltd designs, manufactures, and markets video and audio infrastructure solutions for the television, telecommunications, and new-media industries.

Three key data points gauge EVTZF (or any dividend paying entity):\

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

EVTZF Price

Evertz’s single share price climbed $3.14 in the past year, from $8.70 to $11.84 per Wednesday’s opening market report.

No analysts cover the stock. However, the average of the past three year price progression from  $10.02 to $11.84 shows an average annual gain of about $1.82. Which I’ll use as an average annual return, after I discuss EVTZF dividends.

EVTZF Dividends

Evertz has paid variable Quarterly dividends since January, 2008. The most recent Q dividend of $0.414 equates to $1.656 annually was paid July 13th, 2026 (to shareholders of record July 6th) yielding 4.86% annually (per Wednesday’s opening market report.)

EVTZF Returns

Putting it all together, as of August 26th, a possible gross gain of $3.014 was projected. The $1.82 per share average annual gain was added to the $1.656 presumed forward looking annual dividend to make that $3.014 gross gain.

A little over $1000 invested in EVTZF at Wednesday’s $11.84 opening share price would buy 85 shares which multiply the hypothetical $3.014 gross gain to $254.56 for the coming year, or  25.46%.

My dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is greater than the cost of one share.

EVTZF’s  projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $48.60 and that annual dividend proves to be over 4 times more than its recent $11.84 single-share price.

The exact track of EVTZF’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
