The company was founded in 1934 and is headquartered in Kortrijk, Belgium.

Barco NV (BCNAY) designs and develops visualization solutions for three primary business segments: Healthcare, Enterprise, and Entertainment.

Three key data points gauge BCNAY (or any dividend-paying entity):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

BCNAY Price

Barco’s single share price dropped $2.01 in the past year, from $8.46 to $6.45 per Friday’s closing market report.

No analysts cover the stock. However, the average of a past sixteen-year price progression from  $2.91 to $6.45 shows an average annual gain of about $0.22. Which I’ll use as an average annual return, after I discuss BARCO dividends.

BCNAY Dividends

Barco NV has paid increasing Annual dividends since May 2017, except for the COVID year,  2020. The most recent Annual dividend of $0.32 was paid May 27th, 2026 (to shareholders of record Mayr 6th) yielding 5% annually (per Friday’s closing market report.)

BCNAY Returns

Putting it all together, as of August 21st, a possible gross gain of $0.54 was projected. The $0.22 per share average annual gain was added to the $0.3222 declared forward-looking annual dividend to make that $0.54 gross gain.

A little under $1000 invested in Barco at Friday’s $6.45 closing share price would buy 155 shares which multiply the hypothetical $0.54 gross gain to $83.72 for the coming year, or  8.37%.

My dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is greater than the cost of one share.

Barco’s projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $50.00, and that annual dividend proves to be over 7.75 times more than the recent $6.45 single-share price.

The exact track of BCNAY’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
