The company was founded in 1890 and is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.

B3 SA-Brasil, Bolsa, Balcao (BOLSY) provides trading services in an exchange and over-the-counter (OTC) environment. It is Brazil’s version of the NYSE.

Three key data points gauge BOLSY (or any dividend-paying entity):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

BOLSY Price

B3 SA-Brasil, Bolsa, Balcao ’s single share price increased $2.66 (or about 40%) from $6.69 to $9.35 in the past year, per Friday’s closing market report.

No analysts cover the stock.

However, the average of the past four-year price progressions shows an average annual gain of $0.63, which I’ll use for the annual return, after I discuss dividends.

BOLSY Dividends

B3 SA-Brasil, Bolsa, Balcao has paid Quarterly dividends since May 2021. Its most recent Q dividend of $0.17 was paid July 27 (to shareholders of record July 2nd, yielding 5.52% annually (per Friday’s closing market report)

BOLSY Returns

Putting it all together, as of July 31st, a possible gross gain of $1.31 was projected. The $0.63 per share average annual Gain was added to the $0.68 forward-looking annual dividend to make that $1.31 gross gain.

A little over $1000 invested in BOLSY at Friday’s $9.35 closing share price would buy 107 shares which multiply the $1.31 gross gain to $140.10 for the coming year, or about 14.01%.

My dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a dividend stock that pay an annual dividend (from $1000 invested) that is greater than the cost of one share.

B3 SA-Brasil, Bolsa, Balcao projected annual dividend from $1K invested is $55.20. BOLSY shows an annual dividend which proves to be almost 6 times the recent $9.35 single-share price.

The exact track of BOLSY’s future share price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
