Commitment Of Traders And Futures Positions Still Playing Catch-Up

Here's the weekly net positions of noncommercials, as of Feb. 19.

The following futures positions of non-commercials are as of February 19, 2019.

Beginning December 21, the CFTC was not able to publish reports on time due to the partial shutdown of the federal government, which has now reopened.  The CFTC expects to publish one report on Tuesday and another on Friday of each week until the reports are current as per the normal schedule.  This occurs next Tuesday.  Until then, we will only present the charts below, but not commentaries.

30-year bondCurrently net long 1.4k, up 28k.

Crude oilCurrently net long 417.9k, up 27.4k.

E-mini S&P 500Currently net short 130.8k, up 11.3k.

EuroCurrently net short 74.9k, up 11k.

GoldCurrently net long 145.6k, up 40.8k.

Nasdaq 100 index (mini)Currently net short 25.7k, down 1.1k.

Russell 2000 mini-indexCurrently net short 24k, down 9.5k.
