On Friday, the stock market was more expensive than at any other point in human history. My portfolio has some bearish positions. And, paradoxically, every single one of them is profitable.

On Friday, the stock market was more expensive than at any other point in human history. My portfolio has eight positions, all of them bearish. And, paradoxically, every single one of them is profitable. That’s encouraging to me, for obvious reasons.

Here are a few words about each of them. I will show the first two to everyone, and the final six to paying subscribers only.


APA Corporation (APA)

Major support looks about ready to fail. If crude oil weakens, as I believe it will, then this thing is toast.


Comerica Incorporated (CMA)

We've recently seen this one trading beneath a very large head-and-shoulders top, and rising interest rates will melt anything in the financial sector.
