On March 13th of this year, I arrived at the Motel 6 North in Fairfield, California where I had stayed before. I prepaid $76.54 with a card, and settled in for what I believed would be an uneventful and restful stay.
Then, I watched as Mario Moore of Fairfield tried to kill a woman who had parked in front of my ground-floor unit, by firing a small pistol through the passenger-side window of her car. He saw me watching; and I shut the drapes, or he might have tried to kill me too. Apparently, he shot toward at least one other guest.
He went upstairs, seemingly above me, but came down with his hands over his head when a very-professional and impressive Fairfield police unit arrived. There was an armored car and approximately forty officers, many of whom were wearing riot gear.
At least one Motel 6 employee cowered behind the front desk. But they wasted no time in renting out the unit above me, to people who made noise part of the night. Needless to say, what had happened was one of the most frightening experiences of my life. At 84, I am blessed and thank God for living through it, inter alia, so I could tell this story.[2]
I have asked for at least a refund of my $76.54 payment, for the nightmare stay. Two people from G6 Hospitality have responded on behalf of Motel 6, "Kyle Jensen" and "Parker Lambert," which may be fictitious names. Despite providing my reservation information, both claimed that they couldn't read the facts in the articles that I have cited below, which is patently absurd.[3]
No one should go through what I have with G6 Hospitality and Motel 6. They should be boycotted. As the economy cools, there should be plenty of reputable motels and hotels where travelers can stay, and their lives are not at risk—and they are treated fairly and not fraudulently.

I may be the only witness to what Mario Moore did, aside from the woman whom he shot at. Has he been prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, or will he attempt to kill again?
