Autobiography (of sorts) published!

For my boys' Bar Mitzvah, I wrote a book :) Here's an excerpt!

The most spectacular drinker wasn’t a cat, though. It was a chicken. Not that chickens are all that smart to begin with. One Shabbat night, I was out on the deck, and I saw one of the chickens (a sober one). It was watching the goings on in the living room. You know, all the guests, the light – my mom reading from the Torah.

It wanted to get in.

It proceeded to walk straight into the glass door.

“Buuk.”

It stumbled back, went back to where it had started, and then decided to trot into the room.

“BUUK!”

It hit harder, shook itself off, examined the glass through each eye and then went back to the starting line.

This time, it just ran at the glass.

“BUUUUCK!” it smashed into the window.

I could swear the bird was concussed as it stumbled away.

The point is, a sober chicken ain’t too clever.

A drunk chicken, through is something truly amazing to behold...

Want to read more? A Multi Colored Coat is an autobiography, of sorts. I wrote it for my twin boys' Bar Mitzvah. If you know some of my family stories, you know they are a lot of fun. So share your thoughts below, share this post and check out the book!
