Article Exclusivity 101

How does TalkMarkets define exclusivity? How much equity can you earn by publishing an exclusive article?

TalkMarkets does not require exclusivity, though we do pay a 10x equity premium for exclusive articles. Additionally, our exclusives are also featured on our homepage, emailed out to all registered users, and promoted on several 3rd party sites such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Benzinga, Moody's, and others.

However, we define exclusive very differently than other sites. All we ask is that the content not appear on any other free site, in full, for 48 hours from the point of submission. Any delay in publication on our end does not impact the embargo period.  We do allow (and encourage, as it will increase the pageviews you receive) excerpts on other sites with a linkback to TalkMarkets for the remainder. After the embargo period has ended, you can replace the excerpt with the full article if you wish, or submit the article in full to other websites, as long as you include a linkback to the original post on TalkMarkets.
