Are These The Dark Ages?

Thirty-one-year-old Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a rally in Utah, leaving behind his wife and two little kids.[2] A lovely young Ukrainian woman lay dying on a North Carolina train from a wacko's knife, while bystanders filmed it instead of helping her.[3]

Madness, Helter Skelter, wars and pestilence are everywhere. And this is merely the tip of an enormous iceberg of insanity that pervades the United States and the world today. It's as if the asylums have opened their doors wide, and let loose their monsters on us.[4]

What is normal and what isn't? What do young kids think? Where is God in the midst of such bedlam? We know God is here, there and everywhere, carrying us when necessary and showing us the way.[5] Maybe the world has to descend into chaos before order is restored. COVID did this, but perhaps those challenges were not enough.

More than ten years ago, Kate Steinle was killed in San Francisco by an illegal alien.[6] Did her death make even a ripple? Tom Homan and ICE have stopped the influx of illegals, and are in the process of arresting and ejecting them. They are scared to death in states like California.

Perhaps the senseless deaths of Kirk and the Ukrainian beauty will focus attention on crime and wackos. At the very least, incarcerate them. If our prisons can't accommodate them, ship them to the worst prisons in El Salvador, for the rest of their lives.[7]
