Accenture hiked its quarterly dividend by 4.91% to $1.71 per share, maintaining a solid 13.1% five-year growth rate.

On October 1, Accenture (ACN) increased its dividend by 4.91%, from $1.63 to $1.71 per share.

The dividend is payable on November 13 to shareholders of record on October 13.

ACN's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $33.92 to $725.04.

I own 106 shares of ACN at an average cost basis of $284.31/share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 2.41% (the stock's forward yield is 3.48% at $196.64/share).

Since I opened my position in May 2019, the stock has delivered a total return of -26%, including dividends of $1,472.53. That works out to an annualized rate of return of -11.7%.

ACN became DivGro's 38th Home Run stock in September 2021, when it doubled my original capital outlay. Since then, I've added to the position several times, mostly in 2023 and 2024 at prices above $300/share, and those later purchases weigh on the position's overall return.
