On Monday morning, biopharmaceutical company Abbvie Inc. (ABBV) announced that it has raised its EPS outlook for 2014 by 6 cents. Abbvie now sees its adjusted EPS for 2014 in the range of $3.06 to $3.16; analysts are expecting EPS of $3.14.

Abbvie now sees its adjusted EPS for 2014 in the range of $3.06 to $3.16; analysts are expecting EPS of $3.14. On a GAAP basis, Abbvie expects EPS of $2.69 to $2.79. The company’s raised estimates are due to a strong business performance so far this year, and the expectation that positive trends will continue throughout the year. Abbvie’s EPS expectations does not include any potential revenue from the launch of its hepatitis C therapy.
