A Case for Making Healthcare More Like Social Media

A look at why and how healthcare messaging would make healthcare services more like social media.

One year after the pandemic changed our daily routines so greatly, quite a bit of the world is starting to go back to the doctors office, thanks to an aggressive vaccine rollout.  While many were going to telehealth visits, many doctors offices will likely have people coming back to office in full force.

Every year, healthcare organizations lose around $12 billion due to communication problems. Patients have indicated that they prefer mobile communications with their healthcare providers.  So why do I still need to fill out a piece of physical paper on a clipboard? Seems like a waste of effort, considering the the front office desk then simply inputs it into their system.

Healthcare messaging can change the game and be more like a patient's natural comfort level - their smart phone.
