Concorde Capital: CFD on Scammers and Hackers in the Market

Igor Mazepa Scam

Even before the scam with Private FX in 2015, Igor Mazepa and his Concorde Capital were implicated in the free scandal and legal proceedings in the United States.

Ukrainian hackers, allegedly associated with Igor, quickly broke into the news space and ousted the main financial events. As it turned out, the people of Mazepa passed all the insider information to the traders. Such illegal actions resulted in a round sum for all victims, namely $ 100 million. As it turned out, not only a group of hackers and a dozen traders were involved in this fraud.

The Ukrainian broker Mazepa now brushes off charges of participation in an insider scam.
The company accused was Concorde Bermuda LTD, which was also created by Igor Mazepa. It was she who fell suspicions of the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Concorde Bermuda is a subsidiary of Concorde Capital Group, owned by Igor Mazepa. The Mazepa corporations also accused them of transferring about $ 1.5 million to Jaspen accounts.

Jaspen, next to which Mazepa’s name appears, participated in trading on CFD markets through several brokers. It is the trades of this company that are suspicious because they coincide with the time of the announcement of insider information.
The SEC Commission sued Jersey for 32 hackers and traders. The list also featured Igor Mazepa's Concorde Bermuda. Igor’s company accounts have been frozen.

In the course of the investigation, it turned out that Igor Mazepa’s Concorde earned about $ 3.6 million by using hacked data from 2010 to 2014. Mazepa’s company got even more after the third hacker attack in 2015. Concorde Capital did not agree with the Commission but did not deny its participation in this fraud. Igor Mazepa’s company agreed to pay the specified amount of $ 4.2 million.

In other words, Concorde Capital did not find arguments that could refute the charges of the SEC Commission and decided to pay. Thus, Mazepa again hushed up the scandal and came out unscathed.

About Igor Mazepa's Exchange Frauds

In the period from 2008 to 2012, information about frauds in the Ukrainian stock market regularly surfaced in electronic publications and investor statements.
Most often they featured the funds Dobrobut, Oligarch, Perspective, Stability, Pioglobal Ukraine.
In 2015, Igor Mazepa was one of the founders of PrivateFX, the successor company of the scandalously destroyed Forex Trend broker. The information that Mazepa owns 100% of the shares was confirmed by the executive director in May 2016.

In April 2017, Mazepa and partners announced the technical transfer of PrivateFX to a little-known Prime Broker company. Igor himself announced that he is no longer the main shareholder of the broker. At that time, PrivateFX an Igor Mazepa had already delayed payments to customers for 3 months, while the rules say about transferring money within 5 business days. Most of the company's clients considered in transferring PrivateFX to another broker an attempt to save their reputation and avoid financial responsibility.

In June 2017, deposits and debts were still not paid, and it is worth noting that the majority of players came to the company precisely because of Mazepa’s reputation. After the sale of Igor Mazepa's PrivateFX, all information on the attitude of Igor Mazepa to this broker was removed from the Internet - forums, Wikipedia and other resources. But still, most of the facts managed to save. Deceived by Mazepa, PrivateFX investors began to unite into protest groups on social networks.

In June 2017, a large Facebook community called “The Whole Truth About Igor Mazepa” initiated the creation of a statement on the case of brokerage fraud for Ukraine’s cyber police. More information about the events around PrivateFX can be found on the “Investor” project page on Twitter created by Mazepa customers in 2016.
