Recommended Positions Gaining Traction; Our Model Portfolios

Date: Sunday, June 13, 2021 11:29 PM EDT

Before doing my tables, I wanted to let you know that several of our recommended positions have been written up over the weekend by other stock pickers. Israeli-Channel Islands Novocure (NVCR) which uses electric fields to treat cancers was written up by Dr Harvey Tran who runs an advisory called Biosci Capital Partners. He left out of his note that the process of treating tumors with electricity was developed by a Haifa Israeli professor at Technion, its version of MIT, where two of my first cousin Esti's sons studied. Israel is politically fraught but that doesn't mean its scientists should not be creditted with their discoveries. It is still early days for NVCR but its tumor treatment fields are a totally new way to try to stop cancers.

Another writer who calls himself or herself “Bear of Wall St” tipped NIO (NIO) on Seeking Alpha today.

Finally Taiwan Fund (TWN), was among the 5 closed end funds tipped by “Financially Free Investor”. We have covered these ideas for much longer than the newbies.
