The Seasonality For Thanksgiving Week

Date: Monday, November 21, 2016 5:39 PM EDT

Checking The Seasonality for Thanksgiving week shows the market up .63% for 70% of the time (statistics going back to 1941). The week after Thanksgiving is just up 50% of the time with an average loss of .14%. We are getting longer term bearish signs in the Cumulative Tick and the McClellan Summation index and stock above 150 day average. The High so far on SPX came on 8/15 at 2193.81 (not 8/23 at 2193.42 we said yesterday). It would seem that SPX will touch a new high first. We will keep our powder dry for now.

All the best,
Tim Ord
