I thought i would share this part of the discussion i am having with my new Financial friend. I subjected the title in my email conversation, the same as the title of this blog.
---------
--we talked about politics a little bit yesterday, and i want to make clear a few things.
I hate Trump and Trumpism. If there is one thing Biden is doing right, is his attempt at bringing our allies back into the fold. With our Allies behind us, U.S. dominance is even stronger. Non-allies (eg, China, Russia, etc.).portion of the Business World is about 15%.
And China's big area supposedly is Finance (which i have already said should be on a downward path) and Russia's is in Oil and Gas (another probably deteriorating area of Business activity. Like i say, China and Russia are no threats (other than of course, nuclear holocaust, which i do not believe is going to happen).
My feeling is this about Trump.
1. He soiled Wharton's reputation;
2. He was a con-artist, a fraud; and he has always been that;
3. He is not a U.S. patriot (he thought he and Putin could rule the world together);
4. I could go on and on with a list of about ten more items just as important in meaning, but i won't..
Now if my political view upsets any of your finance friends, i at least want it out in the open. I have been sitting on my knowledge of the U.S.'s dominance for a few years, and i only started bringing it out into the open once Trump was gone.
So my feeling is this. I could respect a Republican candidate like Cheany or Romney, but I will do everything in my power to stop Trump from ever running for President again--and any of your Trumpian friends (e.g., Kudlow, if he is one) should understand this from the get go.
ps. Part of me is speaking as a veteran U.S. nuclear submariner on this issue.
Respectfully,
Jim
