Play It Slow, Joe

Date: Thursday, September 2, 2021 7:01 AM EDT

Afghanistan has left the country in somewhat of a sour mood and that should be expected.  Essentially, we lost a twenty-year war and have been humbled.  Time will fix that wound, however.  There are a few leftover matters in Afghanistan, but it is time to put Afghanistan in the rear view mirror and move forward regarding issues and problems more important.

My advice is to "play it slow, Joe."  You have more than a year before the midterms and more than three years before the next Presidential election.  Stop, take a deep breath, and begin setting a coherent strategy that you can implement piece by piece.  Pass the infrastructure bill first.  That will give you a lot of talking points that people will like.  I do think you should pass a "reasonable" voters' rights bill even if it means busting the filibuster (but that is me).

Whether you do voting rights or not, the infrastructure bill should give you a great opportunity to talk to Americans in a very positive manner.  Afghanistan put you on the defensive and it showed in your voice and your face.  Americans do not want a "defensive" President.  It makes them feel weak.

Right now everything hinges on what happens with the infrastructure bill.  Failure on that one issue will doom your Presidency.  Success on that issue will save your Presidency.  Success means you can change the dialogue back to what this country really is.  America is great and it always has been.

I keep harping and harping about U.S. business dominance.  And i keep telling you that people are completely unaware of that.  Americans think China is a threat and going to surpass us in finance, business, and economics.  Some Americans already believe that to be the case.  Nothing is further from the truth.  I have shown you how U.S. business accounts for 50% of the market value of all global companies.  I showed you yesterday how 2021 is continuing to increase our lead over China.  China is not a threat, they are a "paper tiger", and you need to start telling people that is the case.

Don't tell them yet because they won't believe you right now.  They will think it is part of your defensive argument.  Tell them, however, after you pass infrastructure.  Once you pass infrastructure, that is the time to start telling people how great America is and always has been.  You have to squash the entire concept that we need to "make America great again."   If you think the "Big Lie" was fraud in the election, you are wrong.  The "Biggest Lie of Them All" was the fact that we ever needed to make America great again.  America is and always has been great!  Period!

Afghanistan did not take America's greatness away.  Post infrastructure and the truth about America's position in the world will make your decision regarding Afghanistan look prescient.  By the time you give your "State of the Union" speech in January 2022, you should be at full strength.  And that will give you a wonderful opportunity to be bold, strong, and forthright.

You are doing just about everything you can regarding covid.  What is left is "booster shots" and "kids under twelve".  Damn the recalcitrants and the ignorant.  There is nothing that can be done for them.  But show your concern over the children of the country.  They are helpless pawns in the ongoing political battle over covid.  Be strong for the kids.  People will understand that.

There is not much more for me to say at the moment and it is time that i start working on my Globanomics book, so i think i am not going to blog as much in the upcoming future.  For that reason i am going to leave you with a few other points that i think you should keep in mind and on your agenda.  These items would also do a lot to change the opinion of Americans that think you are a weak President.  All after infrastructure, of course.

1) Tell Americans how great America is and how it dominates the world of business, finance, and economics.

2) Endorse Russia's joining the European Union based upon certain conditions and the current European Union's agreement..

3) Balance the budget while considering some form of "value" tax, both with business and with individuals.

4) Speed up the cure for global warming and consider the Buttigieg Pipeline from the Great Lakes to the rivers feeding the West with water.

5) Gather the support of our Allies to revamp the United Nations into a new World Federation based upon the economic and political facts of 2021 and not 1945.

6) Construct an Electronic Global Stock Market Board (EGSB) that can give you "daily updates" on the business market share of each country and groups of countries (i.e. European Union, Africa, Middle East, South America, United States, North America, Asia Pacific, China, and India), which can be used to recognize trends at the advantage of not just the United States, but the world, too.

7) And last, but not least, establish a world charter that endorses the principles of globanomics and construct an analytical method to monitor progress toward positive goals using the Performance Evaluation Report Card (PERC) methodology and the global hierarchy of needs triangle that i have laid out for you previously.

Now with all of that said, i am going on a break.  I will be with you, Joe, all the way.  Just play it slow now.  Regain your strength and move us forward towards a better world.  You still have the opportunity to be one of the greatest (if not the greatest) of our many great Presidents.  Don't let the small stuff keep you from getting great things done.
