Market Briefing For Thursday, Feb. 8
It should become a challenge to reignite the degree robust behavior that preceded our unsustainable upside behavior warnings, in later January; leading into our projected early February break and 'automatic' rebound.
Market Briefing For Wednesday, Feb. 7
By the time it was all said and done we remain with the continued concern that lies out there; even as everyone (myself included) does not discern any serious impact on market functions or systemic risks.
Market Briefing For Monday, Feb. 5
In general an S&P correction has been overdue, and hints periodically have been seen for months; since the Fed made clear the unsustainable prior policy modality; as well as rotational sector rotation.
Market Briefing For Wednesday, Jan. 31
Most presume that, other than shakeouts, the market is good for another year or more before the Bear can emerge. That would be swell; but I for one do not assume we're good for another year.
Market Briefing For Monday, Jan. 29
It's a bit too soon to suggest that a Spring rally follows before heavier selling; however it's something we'll gauge depending how deep a first-strike in terms of 'regression' towards, if not to, the Mean unfolds.
Market Briefing For Wednesday, Jan. 24
This remains a seasonally firm time of year, but some (TD Ameritrade Tuesday is one) have warned that customer cash balances are the lowest in years; meaning already invested in markets now.

Market Briefing For Tuesday, Jan. 16
The stock market has no fire safety override; and continues up as I've discussed by video. Clearly, the S&P is now (at last) becoming jammed overbought, with the massive upside spree that is (or should be) unsustainable as it pushes over 2800.
Market Briefing For Tuesday, Jan. 9
Taking the foot off the accelerator for a few days, not just hours, would be potentially a more constructive approach for the bulls.
Market Briefing For Monday, Jan. 8
An impressive start to 2018 has pushed believers and skeptics almost universally onto the bullish side of the ledger as regards indefinite duration for the market's overall advance.
Market Briefing For Wednesday, Jan. 3
The first half is really best chance for market action 'not' to completely fall apart as well; we'll navigate the pattern as this year evolves; and caution it will not be a duplicate of 2017.
Market Briefing For Tuesday, Jan. 2
Market failure is on the horizon; but can be deferred by what becomes a 'sleeper-like' transition into a greater risk concern. Funds that always show up for retirement funding will provide money managers an ability to deflect headwinds for a while.
Market Briefing For Friday, Dec. 29
It has been my assessment that the market cared very little about many macro issues provided things didn't literally blow up.
Market Briefing For Tuesday, Dec. 26
Tendencies to rise in the last days of the year are known typically as a 'Santa Claus' rally. The classic signs of exhaustion are also present. So it's going to be interesting and we might see some selling once stocks can settle in the new year.
