Caribbean Stud Poker

Caribbean stud is definitely an improvement from traditional poker. Instead of being banned from seeing all of your cards and the dealer’s hand, you get access to both. In fact, the player has access to his/her entire hand immediately after the cards are dealt. The player also has access to some of the dealer’s hand.

Caribbean stud poker begins when the cards are dealt, with each player and dealer receiving five cards each. From this point, each player is required to expose a single card from their hand. The dealer views the cards carefully to determine it is in its best interest to move forward with the game.

In order for the game to move forward, the dealer must have an ace, king, or card that is of better quality than the players’ exposed cards. If all fails, the dealer is not able to move forward, resulting in the jackpot being pushed.

Red Dog Poker

Red dog “acey-duecy” poker is another popular poker derivative game. This is a unique poker derivative game as it begins in a different than conventional poker and other poker derivative games. The game starts with an ante from the player. Once the initial bet is taken, the dealer will then take two cards from the pile.

The two cards must match for the player to win. If the card matches, the player will receive an 11-1 payout, which is very difficult to accomplish. If the two cards turn out consecutive, the hand is immediately pushed. Consecutive, in this case, means the cards must be consecutive, no card can fall between the two cards. Many red dog poker players also like to play a slot online because it is less stressful.

An example of red dog poker consecutive cards is a three and a four. The two cards are consecutive and no card can fall between them. When this happens, the dealer will move forward by drawing two additional cards from the deck.

Afterword

Let it ride and wrap are two other poker derivative games. These games also have features that make them unique to the other poker derivatives. If you enjoy poker, you may just enjoy poker derivative games more. Players who enjoy playing poker will oftentimes play a mixture of poker derivative games as well. With so many options to choose from, you are guaranteed to never get bored. You can play poker derivative games in a brick-and-mortar casino. To add convenience, players can also play online at any legal casino platform.
