Two Foreign ADR's That Are A Must Own For Everyone's Portfolio

Thanks to the FCC-mandated, government-sponsored program, called LifeLine Assistance, the financially disadvantaged can receive a free government cell phone and up to 250 free minutes and texts every month, although some programs in some states provide even more (a few less). An estimated 15 million Americans already participate, and tens of millions more qualify to enroll. With the economy falling further and further behind, more and more Americans are finding themselves eligible for the Lifeline phone service program. This is the service that gets the lionshare of the business from this government program and this service in owned by Mexican Billionaire Carlos Slim's America Movil (AMX) ,which is a Mexican based company with 272 million cell phone customers in the USA, Central and South America . America Movil has more subscribers than Verizon (VZ) & AT&T (T) combined and has a virtual monopoly on Apple's I-phone (AAPL) sales in Central and South America.

The stock was trading at $33.87 in 2007, so it is currently trading at -39.87% below its all time high and about -12% below my buy price. It sells the popular "No Contract" Trac Phone which has 18 million customers in the USA alone. It is the worlds fourth largest mobile phone company.

German Firm Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA (FMS), a kidney dialysis company, provides renal dialysis products and services. It offers dialysis treatment, and related laboratory and diagnostic services through its network of 3,250 outpatient dialysis clinics in approximately 45 countries worldwide; materials, training, and patient support services comprising clinical monitoring, follow-up assistance, and arranging for delivery of the supplies to the patient's residence; and dialysis services under contract to hospitals in the U.S. for the hospitalized ESRD patients and for patients suffering from acute kidney failure. Along with U.S. based Davita Healthcare  (DVA), which Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) (BRK.B) owns a big percentage of, the two form a Duopoly and dominate this area of the  healthcare industry. This is a anti-recessionary business  as customers need FMS's products to survive regardless of War, Famine or Depression and with the rise of Diabetes throughout the world, this company will grow consistently going forward. This is very profitable part of the health care industry, that is also ObamaCare resistant, as patients who do not get this treatment die.
