Keep Shortin’ The Pops On Thursday (Look Here)

Video Length: 00:48:04

We’re heading into the biggest news of the week on Thursday morning, and with our favorite markets beginning their collapse off today’s high, I’ll be looking for opportunities to ride this momentum back down to weekly lows tomorrow morning…

Our biggest challenge is to avoid chasing the market lower tomorrow morning.  I’ll be staying patient, waiting for my chance to short the pops around key resistance levels overhead.  Are you ready?  Here’s my plan…

E-Mini Keys to Success:

  • Range-bound market.  Buy Low, Sell High
  • Bulls trying to complete rotation up to the high
  • Measured-move and Pendulum swing act like resistance
  • Bulls need to show strength to convince us to “buy high”
  • Sellers should look for buyer-failures to short back to range

Best Setups for Tomorrow:

  • (UP) – Nested failure to get short (or) 123-breakout to get long
  • (DOWN) – Nested failure & Bull Traps to get short (or) 123-Reversal off bull channel to get long
  • (SIDEWAYS) – sit on hands, buy low, sell high

Crude Oil Keys to Success:

  • Watching Volume “Roll Forward” to 03-21 contract
  • Range-bound market, buyers failed off the highs.
  • Strong move down gives sellers the edge.
  • Sellers looking for pendulum swing rotation
  • Avoid the middle of the range

Best Setups for Tomorrow:

  • (UP) – buyer failure at resistance trend-line short (or) 2-try trap for long
  • (DOWN) – 123-breakout & 2-try breakout to short (or) nested failure at support for long
  • (SIDEWAYS) – sit on hands.  Buy low, sell high.

Gold Keys to Success:

  • Range-bound market, bears rotating off the high
  • Sellers looking for shorts above range @ resistance
  • Sellers can ride momentum is selling accelerates
  • Buyers have no proof, need a strong breakout

Best Setups for Tomorrow:

  • (UP) – Failure off resistance trend-line short (or) 123-breakout to get long
  • (DOWN) – 2-try trap & 123-breakout short (or) Nested failure to get long
  • (SIDEWAYS) – sit on hands, wait for breakout.  Buy low, sell high
