Asia Markets: Quick Primer - MSCI Up While Heng Seng Fells, Bank Holiday Japan

The MSCI Asia Pacific and TOPIX closed both in the plus with 0.7% and 0.8% higher while TOPIX was closed due to the Bank holiday called Marine Day, it is a day for the appreciation for the seas and oceans known as ‘Umi no hi’. Both markets are still in the balanced price range on a daily, testing the lower extreme for buyers.

Heng Seng fells about 1.2% and seems to head towards the bracket lows with selling pressure around the Quarterly VWAP.

Europe’s STOXX 600 closed little changed while heading higher to yesterday’s swing highs for potential absorption behavior.

The U.S Yield is down by about 0.5% while Gold trades with support lower by 0.2%. Dollar index POLR might change to the upside with Monday’s highs as target and could pressure commodities such as Gold or Oil.
