Small Caps have been having a rough time lately. In fact the S&P 600 Small Cap index is lower this morning than it was 6 months ago. To find a silver lining in the dark cloud I used Barchart to sort the S&P 600 Small Cap Index stocks to find the stocks with the best technical buy signals and charts. First I sorted for technical buy signals then I used the Flipchart feature to find some charts showing consistent momentum. I had to skip a lot of stocks to find the 5 I liked best.
