3 Ways To Get Short On Thursday

Video Length: 00:51:22

Markets are all bearish going into Thursday’s trading session…

Emini is down, Nasdaq is down, and Gold is trying to push lower…

With all this bearish momentum, I’m looking to get short on Thursday.

But where’s the safest place to enter? And what type of entry trigger should I look for? I’ve got you covered. In tonight’s video, I’ll show you my favorite locations and entry triggers so you’re ready for the action on Thursday…

E-Mini S&P (ES):

E-Mini Keys to Success:

  • Range-bound market this morning turns into a strong run lower for the bears, suggesting another leg lower at some point tomorrow morning
  • Bears want to get short on the next retracement for another leg lower
  • Bulls need to reverse this momentum back into the range from earlier today.

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • [UP] – buyer failure to sell (or) 123-Reversal to buy
  • [DOWN] – Wait to short the bounces (or) crown reversal to buy
  • [SIDEWAYS] – wait to sell buyer failures above the new range

E-Mini Nasdaq (NQ):

Nasdaq Keys to Success:

  • Bears took control with a breakout of yesterday’s trading-range. Two strong legs down suggest sellers will be looking to get short on the next deep retracement
  • Bulls need to reverse this trend for a move back up to yesterday’s range.
  • Bears want to short the next bounce around resistance levels overhead.

Best Trades for Tomorrow:

  • [UP] – buyer failure to sell (or) 123-Reversal to buy
  • [DOWN] – wait to short the bounces (or) crown reversal off major support
  • [SIDEWAYS] – wait for the range to develop, sell buyer failures above the highs.

Gold Keys to Success:

  • Range-bound market rotation up off the lows.
  • Bulls want to run price back to the Weekend Gap above the range
  • Bears want to get short with failures above the range
