Today I used Barchart to sort the S&P 400 Mid Cap Index for new high frequency in the last month then I reviewed the charts using the Flipchart feature. I didn't find 5 stocks I liked, only 3 so I resorted by short term technical indicators and again used the Flipchart feature to find 2 more.

The stocks I've selected are Granite Construction (GVA), Cabot Corp (CBT), NewMarket Corp (NEU), Unit Corp (UNT), and Alliant Energy (LNT):
