Salesforce announced its intent to buy Slack this week for nearly $28 billion, which would be the second-biggest software deal ever. Not only is the price high, the deal is expensive. Salesforce is paying 24 times next year’s sales. So is it a good idea? CNBC’s Jon Fortt gives both sides of the issue.
