Stocks Try To Finish Ugly Week On High Note

Stocks are cautiously higher midday, but it is a small consolation prize compared to the broader market's overall weakness this week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI), S&P 500 Index (SPX), and Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) are poised to snap their three-day losing streaks, the latter up triple digits at the last check. All three major indexes are still on track for sizable weekly losses, though, as oil prices and bond yields remain elevated.
