Stocks Mixed Ahead Of Fed Meeting Conclusion

Stocks are muted this afternoon, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) slightly lower ahead of the interest rate decision at the conclusion of the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) meeting at 2 p.m. ET today. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 Index (SPX) is flat, while the Nasdaq Composite Index (IXIC) sports a marginal midday lead.

Harley-Davidson Inc (NYSE: HOGshares are slightly lower this afternoon, last seen down 0.8% at $38.73 following yesterday's bull note. Morgan Stanley praised Harley-Davidson's focus on its bread-and-butter business, which is encouraging bullish traders today, with 4,237 calls across the tape so far today -- six times the average intraday amount. The most popular contract is the January, 19 2024 60-strike call.

Janone Inc (Nasdaq: JANis rallying today, last seen up 27.4% to trade at $1.49, pulling away from annual lows, and standing near the top of the Nasdaq. The company just sold its legacy business ARCA Recycling in order to focus on its biopharmaceutical company. Year-to-date, Janone stock is now up 8%.

The U.S.-listed shares of China-based Luokung Technology Corp (Nasdaq: LKCOare trading at the bottom of the Nasdaq, after the company announced a 30-to-1 share combination on its ordinary shares. The shares were last seen 30.3% lower to trade at $2.05, and now stands 88.2% lower in the last 12 months.
