Stock Charts To Watch - Monday, October 21

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) popped 1.06, or 3.42%, to 32.03, with a high of 32.26, on 50 million shares on Monday and is right up against resistance. Keep an eye on this one. Anything above 32 1/4, and we could see it run to 34-35 and beat the high from August.

Coty Inc. (COTY) popped out of a resistance zone on a bit of a breakaway gap as well, and gained 1.36, or 13.44%, to 11.48, reaching a high of 11.65, on 17.5 million shares. With that kind of volume, that breakaway move could test the high’s up around the 13 3/4 range.

Fitbit, Inc. (FIT) continues to look good. After the big declining channel, then a pop and breakaway move that took it from the high 40’s, it came on again with volume. On Monday, it took out lateral resistance and ran 31 cents, or 8%, to 4.17, with a high of 4.21, on 9.2 million shares. The next target is in the 4.60-4.75 range, and then we’ll see where it goes beyond that.

InMode Ltd. (INMD) popped out of a falling wedge and jumped 1.62, or 6.24%. to 27.57, with a high of 28.10, on 875,628 shares traded. Resistance is in the 28 1/4 range. If it gets through that, it will test the all-time highs at 29.38. Keep an eye on that one.

Limelight Networks, Inc. (LLNW) popped on Thursday, had an inside day on Friday, and on Monday, it had a nice follow-through day, popping 24 cents, or 6.2%, to 4.11, with a high of 4.14, on 3.1 million shares. I’m looking for more. I think this is a very bullish, big base pattern. Any pullback opportunity or flag could be a set-up to move up to 4 3/4, and then 5-5 1/2.

Soliton, Inc. (SOLY) may have broken out of its long, multi-month coil and a min-wedge or pennant on Monday, and jumped 1.22, or 9.24%, to 14.42, with a high of 14.86, on 709,695 shares traded. That’s the biggest volume in three-plus months. If it can get through 15 1/4, look for 19 and 22 going forward.
