Shares of United States Steel (X) continue to stay weak as expectations for the global economy remain low. However, investors and stock traders should be on high alert, there is a major stock chart buy alert level approaching. This could be a multi-year low pivot buying opportunity for United States Steel.

Interestingly enough, United States Steel Corp topped just as Trump imposed tariffs meant to help the steelmakers. At that point (early 2018), US Steel traded above $45/share. It currently sits at $9.05.

In 2016, United States Steel traded down to the $6.00 range. The stock is not far from that area now. The technical stock chart buy alert triggers at $6.65. This is where the hardcore technical traders will buy US Steel Corp. Look for as much as 100% or more upside off this level.
