S&P 500 Snapshot: Up 7.8% YTD
The S&P 500 ended the week up just 19 basis points from last Friday and is up 7.83% YTD. The index is 2.7% below its record close.
The U.S. Treasury puts the closing yield on the 10-year note as of October 16 at 0.76%, which is above its record low (0.52% on August 4, 2020). The 2-year note is at 0.14%.
