Oracle Misses Q1 Earnings And Revenue Estimates

Oracle (ORCL - Free Report) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.03 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.07 per share. This compares to earnings of $1.03 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -3.74%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this software maker would post earnings of $1.38 per share when it actually produced earnings of $1.54, delivering a surprise of 11.59%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times.

Oracle, which belongs to the Zacks Computer - Software industry, posted revenues of $11.45 billion for the quarter ended August 2022, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.18%.
