Luminar Jumps 19% After Poaching Executives From Intel, Tesla

Shares of Luminar Technologies (LAZR) jumped after the company announced the hiring of executives from Intel (INTC) and Tesla (TSLA).

Alan Prescott joined Luminar as Chief Legal Officer and Trey Campbell joined as Vice President of Investor Relations, the company said. Prescott came from Tesla, where he spent four years acting most recently as General Counsel. Prior to joining Luminar, Campbell was a 20-year veteran and financial executive of Intel, most recently the Vice President of Investor Relations.

Luminar, an autonomous vehicle sensor, and software company is up 19% to $19.61 in late morning trading.
