Lawmaker Urges FAA, Boeing Workers To Utilize Whistleblower Page

Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio said in a statement that he is encouraging any current or former officials or employees of Boeing and the Federal Aviation Administration, who are familiar with the FAA's aircraft certification program, to utilize the Committee's whistleblower webpage if they have any information that would be of interest to the Committee and its investigation into the FAA's approach to certifying the Boeing 737 MAX.

The website allows anyone to submit information anonymously. "I want to hear from those who may have any information related to the FAA's aircraft certification program, particularly with regards to the certification of the Boeing 737 MAX, and wish to share it confidentially," said DeFazio.

"Our Committee has created a whistleblower webpage to serve as a resource for anyone who has information to share, and as we continue investigate this program, we are eager to hear from anyone who can help. It is imperative we continue to ensure we have the highest level of safety for the traveling public."
