Ituran Has Fleet Location And Control Technology

Today I'm reviewing a small-cap semiconductor equipment & materials firm by the name of Ituran Location and Control, Ltd. Its trading ticker symbol is ITRN.

Ituran Location and Control Ltd offers location-based services (such as stolen vehicle recovery & tracking services) as well as wireless communication products in Israel, Brazil, Argentina, and the United States.

It operates in two segments, Location-Based Services, and Wireless Communications Products. The company's Location-Based Services segment provides stolen vehicle recovery and tracking services. The company's Wireless Communications Products segment provides Base Site, a radio receiver that includes a processor and a data computation unit to collect and send data to and from transponders, and to control centers.

As of December 31, 2017, it served approximately 180,000 end-users through 38,000 corporate customers. The company was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Azor, Israel

I use three key data points to gauge the value of any dividend equity or funds likeIturan Location and Control, Ltd. (ITRN):

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Besides those three, four more keyswill finally unlock an equity or fund in which to invest.

But those first three primary keys, best tell whether a company has made, is making, and will make money.

iTRN Price

ITRN's price per share was $33.35 at yesterday's market close. A year ago its price was $30.60 for a gain of $2.75 per share.

Assuming ITRN's price will trade in the range of $28 to $40 next year, that $2.75 gain could repeat itself and move ITRN's current $33.35 price to $36.10 by mid- August, 2019.

ITRN Dividends

ITRN's most recent quarterly dividend was $0.24declared May 23 and paid June 11th.

At that most recent quarterly pay rate, its 2018 annual dividend is calculated at $0.96 yielding 2.87% at yesterday's closing $33.35 price.

Gains For ITRN?

Adding the $0.96 estimated annual dividend to the $2.75 year over year theoretical price gain for ITRN makes a $3.71gross annual per share gain, which will be reduced by costs to trade the shares.

A little over $1,000.00 invested today at the $33.35 recent price buys 30 Ituran Location and Control, Ltd. (ITRN) shares.

A $10 broker fee paid half at purchase and half at sale costs about $0.33 per share, subtracting that $0.33 brokerage cost from the estimated $3.71 gross gain leaves a net gain of $3.38 X 30 shares = $101.40 or a 10.1% net gain on a $1,000.50 investment.

Therefore, Ituran Location and Control, Ltd., whose trading ticker symbol is ITRN, now shows a possible 10.1% net gain including a 2.87% dividend yield.

One broker covers this stock:

She says "buy"

So, the analyst consensus recommendation number is 1.00 or "buy".

The price target set by that single broker is $1.10 under the $36.10 year over year price target I named.

Y Charts has some data on this firm. Y Charts hasrated ITRN "Neutral" for an overall "Y" rating; it has "average" for a value score, and "strong" for a Fundamental mark, and rates ITRN "16.6% under" for aHistoric Valuation score based on a historic $39.99 valuation per share.

So, you could look at all those various numbers this way, Ituran Location and Control, Ltd., (ITRN) has made money, is making money, and could net a 10.1%gain including a 2.87% dividend yield. It could be more, it could be less.

The above speculation is based on past year performance. Actual results remain to be seen. Results could turn out to be far higher or lower. More study is required for you to determine ifIturan Location and Control, Ltd., (ITRN) is worth your time and money.
