In the three solid months, Tesla TSLA has been stuck in a wide range of prices from $620 to $845, and we’re very near the top of it now. I strongly suspect it’s out of gas at this point, due to the mountain of overhead supply.

Looking at the lifetime history of the stock, you can see how Tesla tends to enter these long periods of going nowhere for about two years. We’re in a new one now, I suspect, where we just grind away until interest dies off broadly.

The latest Elon scandal (which are coming at a clip of about one each week these days) doesn’t seem to be having any impact. Bouncing from billionaire to billionaire seems to be fiscally irrelevant, I suppose.
